Emotional stress is defined as a highly unpleasant stress triggered through various factors that could be in the environment, like relationships, work, family life, financial issues, etc. Stress can manifest in various levels and one of them is psychological. This kind of distress is often not easily understood because the symptoms overlap with many other mental health issues. Emotional stress mainly covers resentment, fears, frustration, sadness, anger, etc. The symptoms can vary person to person. Psychological stress can cause an imbalance in our daily functioning and can effect our well-being in many ways.
